Wow, wow, wow! What a year it has been...

How was 2022 for you?

  • It was amazing!

  • Where did the time go?!

  • I can't wait for 2023

  • It could have been better

REFLECTION

As always, there was a lot of growth in many departments. But there were definitely a lot of circumstances and events that pushed that growth. From various doctor appointments to different jobs to financial stress to mental health stress... so many things. But I am happy to say that we are closing this year out on a good note.

I remember last year's end-of-year vibe. It was around October...somewhere in the fall. And I had just made a connection with a successful woman that my great friend introduced me to. She put some FIRE under MY butt, let 👏🏻 me 👏🏻 tell 👏🏻 you 👏🏻. Nevertheless, shout out to her. After gaining almost 200 new followers from doing an Instagram live with her and speaking about financial literacy and women in business, I got inspired to launch a couple of projects. I was very excited to start the foundation of my personal brand.

Honestly guys, I really think I have ADHD. And apparently, my family and friends agree... but whatever. Still waiting for my therapist to decide to diagnose me so I can have some peace of mind. Anyways, I realized that this interesting status of my brain has helped me bring so many ideas to life.

This year, I launched

THE FINANCIAL VAULT PODCAST

[Now becoming"Passions For Profits Podcast", as of 12/24/22]

  • A podcast powered by Anchor

  • My goal is to provide motivation, information, resources, and conversations to help women (and men if they want to listen) overcome their pains and use that passion to turn them into profits.

THEFINANCIALVAULT.COM

  • A new service-based website (powered by Shopify)

  • After learning how to use Canva during the pandemic, and applying my artistic and creative skills, I was providing graphic design services making flyers, business cards, posters, and much more for business owners.

  • Will I continue this project? Not sure, as of right now. Maybe later in the future.

THE TAIBAI FOUNDATION

  • A while back, during the beginning of the pandemic, my friend Pablo Calderon & I started to give back to the homeless community in New York City. We gathered our friends and went into the streets, distributing a variety of things from care packages to food, drinks, clothing, and much more. We started a group called "The Official La Familia"

  • A few months ago, I decided to do my own thing and created the beginning of "The TAIBAI Foundation", where I will be raising funds and providing resources for the homeless, women, children, and animals. Something I already do, but I will make it official. Philanthropy is one of my love languages. I am excited to see this project blossom and the partners that I will connect with in the future.

  • Follow us on Instagram

HEALING THROUGH READING BOOK CLUB

  • A book club featuring men and women who enjoy coming together to read personal development books, sharing their stories, and working on healing together.

... And probably a whole bunch of other things that I tried and ideas that I came up with that I will probably circle back on, but I can't remember at this moment. Nevertheless, shout out to my brain for being useful.

If there's anything that you should take from this, it is to stop letting your ideas be just that, ideas. Put some action into the equation and start bringing your ideas to life. Otherwise, they will stay in your brain forever and go to waste.

Side Bar:

As I was typing this blog in my future mother-in-law's house, I didn't realize how quickly my night was about to take a turn. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a prime example of the fact that no matter how "happy and content" you are, the devil will always try to throw a rock at your glass house. But guess what, if there's anything that I have learned from the great Tim Grover,

"...businessman, motivational speaker, personal trainer, and owner of Attack Athletics. Grover is recognized as the trainer to the most elite, iconic athletes in the world, including the late Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Michael Jordan." - Wikipidea

... it's that the beautiful part about being broken is that fact that you now get to choose which pieces to leave behind. And that is exactly what I will be doing as I walk into the new year.

I won't let you all the way into my business, but I won't lie either --- I was a little hurt, or whatever. Life happens, but it happens for a reason. And most of the time, those reasons are meant to teach us a lesson. My lesson was that I need to work on myself, a lot. And that is what I will do. Thanks for the lesson universe.

On A Lighter Note

I hope your year went well. And I also hope that you learned from your lessons. So, now that we are here, let's turn all those lemons into lemonade, baby! I want you to start listing out your accomplishments for the year '22 and then list out the ones you want to work on in 2023. We must be GROWTH ORIENTED, not GOAL ORIENTED.

Think about it, once you hit your goals... then what? What comes next? You chillin'? Or are you working on the next big thing? Exactly. Let's focus on GROWING & GLOWING, boo!

You got this! I believe in you. Now, let's hustle! *insert smooch emoji"

Have a blessed year-end and a happy and safe holiday season. Until next time!

With love and light,
Shantel Sanchez 💕
